is currently Head of Inorganic Analytics at Evonik Industries, Productline Analytics (ex AQura and Degussa). He graduated in 1986 from an engineering school in Winterthur, Switzerland with a degree in Chemistry. The same year he joined a producer of high-purity metals for semiconductor industry, where he was responsible for process and product development as well as for the quality control lab. In 1991 he joined Degussa AG in Germany. His labs nowadays cover techniques like GD-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, AAS, XRF, and XRD, performing analytical research and development for materials science, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
